1. Enrollment in Learn With Jillian tutoring, story hours, or classes!
Experiences make wonderful gifts! Offering to pay for registration in reading tutoring, story hour, or one of the book-club style classes I offer would be a lovely gift for a young reader. Click the links below to learn more about online tutoring and see the range of online classes I offer and what might best fit the reader you know.

2. Books!
Books are, of course, a superb gift for a reader. Or, if you aren’t able to find out what books your friend is wanting, or aren’t sure of their taste enough to surprise them, or maybe they are picky about editions… gift cards for books are a great option, too. Click the button below to shop some of my favorite winter-y children’s books that make wonderful gifts!
3. Book Light
Book lights are so nice to have and super useful! I especially like this one because it lays flat on the page making it really easy to read and move as needed.
4. Sticky Notes
Sticky notes are a great way to write your thoughts, your reading assignments, definitions, or just notes in general and stick onto the page of a book if you aren’t someone who likes to write directly onto the pages - or maybe you have a library book so you really can’t write in them even if you want to. Whatever the situation, sticky notes are handy.
5. Little Women Tote
I absolutely love this tote bag! What better way to wear in a sense your favorite book while going to the library, the book shop, stationary store, grocery, take on a trip… to take wherever you might need a wonderful bag?
6. Book Locket
This little book locket is just so sweet! For any reader who loves books and jewelry, this seems like a beautiful gift.
7. Book Themed Zipper Pouch
There’s always a way to use a zippered pouch whether for pens and pencils, coins, to corral things in a purse…the uses are just about endless! These ones add a little book-ish whimsy to whatever you need a pouch for.
8. Delfonics Pouch
I love these pouches. The small size (see photo; linked below) is super great for holding stationary and art supplies, and the medium size (click here) holds those things plus it can hold an A5 notebook or journal, or a small book, too!
9. Tea
Many readers I know (myself included) love to have a cozy drink to sip while enjoying a good book. For the tea-drinking readers you know, here is a festive and lovely sounding assortment of teas!
10. Bookish Christmas Tree Ornament
How cute is this tree ornament? If one cannot make a tree out of books, I’d say the next best option is to decorate the tree with bookish things.
